With one month to go until the release of Abstergo Entertainment’s Assassins Creed Syndicate, we thought we would wet your appetite with a few facts.
1: For the first time ever, you can play as two Assassins – Jacob and Evie Frye.
2: When Jacob and Evie arrive in London, they are seeing everything for the very first time, right alongside the player. You and the characters must learn all of London’s secrets together. As they learn, you learn.
3: Much of the game’s activities and side quests will revolve around winning over London’s various gangs, on behalf of how important it is to maintain the Templars’ lack of control over the streets.
4: “Gone are the good old days, when you could walk down the streets with a sword at your side and no one would bat an eye. Concealment is now key”.

Abstergo strives to be the world leader in medical and technological research, and nothing exemplifies that desire more than our work in brain science. Abstergo is slowly recreating the human brain piece by piece, which has lead to astounding discoveries, such as the Animus. One potential application for the Animus is to use the system as means for learning a new skill, or behavior. The side effect known as the ‘bleeding effect’ is being translated into a system for instantaneous learning. Imagine downloading a program on physics into an Animus-like system, and then becoming a master of that program within just a few days or hours. This technology would completely change the way we learn new information, and the way we teach it. While this information system is still in the concept, Abstergo feels confident that no one else will be able to bring you technology like this and we are excited to share our ideas with you.
As most of you have already heard, Abstergo Entertainment’s new game Syndicate, set to be released on October 23, takes you through the streets of Victorian London. The Victorian era has captured the imaginations of thousands of people, whether through the books of Charles Dickens, or movies like Alice in Wonderland. We hope our new game will capture the spirit of the Victorian era while also keeping to its industrial roots. Our team works hard to make sure that the gaming experience is as real as possible, which means hours of research, visits to historical sites all across England, and even wearing period clothing to get the flow of fabric and movement in them just right. This story highlights the harsher side of Victorian London’s glamour by following a street gang who preys upon the wealthy. Why a street gang? One reason for this, is that it will help tell gritty industrial England’s tale better than a wealthy factory owner could. The street gang perspective gives character to a harsh reality, much the way The Jungle, written by Upton Sinclair, or Death in the Haymarket by James Green did. Remember, what may seem good may actually be evil, and what may seem evil, may actually be good.

Abstergo will be hosting, with the help of the Red Cross, its first annual blood drive next week and we hope to see you there. The event will take place Wednesday, July 22nd from 9am to 7pm. All major branch location will be participating, all you need to do is show up, no preregistration required. However you do need to bring a valid form of identification such as a driver’s license and a contact number. There will also be a small questionnaire that must be filled out before donation can begin. We hope you can be a part of this great event and sign up to donate blood or one of the many options we have such as bone marrow donor or organ donor. There will be trained staff on hand and Red Cross members to help make this a smooth and successful day. Come join the fun and help save a life while you’re at it.
Hello everyone, if you missed us at E3 here is a recap of our talk and what we had on display. We are currently working with our partner Google to develop a way for mobile technology to understand space and motion using 3 steps called project Tango. Motion tracking gives the device the ability to understand its position and orientation using custom sensors. Depth sensors allow the device to understand the shape of the space around the device letting the virtual world and real world interact. Area Learning uses visual cues to help the device recognize the world around them, “They can self-correct errors in motion tracking and relocalize in areas they’ve seen before.”(Google) We hope to use this technology in forensics, archaeology, medicine and subterranean real-time mapping.
We also are in the process of creating a way to bring holograms in to everyday use, no longer just the stuff of science fiction. Imagine having a holographic pet or immersing yourself in the Animus anywhere at any time. Holograms can be used for a wide range of things from building complex models to holographic travel. Abstergo Industries and Abstergo Entertainment are building a device that skips over the glasses and goes straight for the eyes by building contact lenses that use holographic technology. We are still in the testing phase and hope to have a prototype ready for public display soon.
There have been recent concerns about how effective our personal computer antivirus and antispyware software is due to the recent breach in US Government computers. Our software development team is confident that our programs provide the best in home computer security. They would like to point out that the Federal Government uses a different program than the ones we sell for home use and that Abstergo is looking in to the breach. Our medical research team is proud to give you an update on our attempt to communicate with people in vegetative states. We have learned to distinguish between different types of awareness levels in people who have severe brain damage. Medically each patient appears to be unable to communicate or is aware of their surroundings. This creates a problem for administering medical treatment or legal representation. However we have been working on a modified version of the animus which can project real time thoughts on to a screen enabling a person to communicate. This in the testing stages and not very practical for wide use because different types of trauma require different settings in the animus prototype. We hope to soon figure a way around that problem and provide a revolutionary technology to our community.
