  1. Hello Abstergo. Or should i call you Templars?
I know who you are. And i’m pretty shure that you also know who we are.
Just to mention, the world is becoming past, and still you walk around in your facilitys
    posting news about “living better”.

I do not have more to say. But i know that you know who we are.
    And what we do.

        • Hello again. My templar friends. Please do not play stupid before me. I am not a fool.
You asked me if I was one of the Erudito. Of course you already know that, but actually I am not. I am not one of them. And I am not your enemy.
Because I can’t do anything else against you then writing messages via Internet.
But please do not be foolish. You know what they can do. And you know what they say.

          Requiescat in pace

          • Firstly, I am not a templar, nor would side with them.

Secondly, I was wondering if you were Erudito.

Thirdly, I kind of know what they (templars) can do.

          • Hello. I really did not know that you could be so foolish. “They” are not the Templars. And you now that. Or do you really want me to believe that you still do not know what I’m talking about? Sould I name Vidic? Your doctor. Or professor. Or grand master? Do you know what will happen to him? To your organisation? Or wait. Maybe you do not know that you are Templars. Maybe Warren just want you to believe that you make life’s better? There is only one more thing I should mention. Apple of Eden. My friend

          • You really think I am working in abstergo? No I’m not, I was a victim of their animus sessons

I hated Vidic when he kidnapped me out of my home O.o

I know about piece of Eden because of the ancestor memories…

          • I do not appreciate the way you are communicating with our client. Direct attacks to our clients will not be tolerated. This was a warning, do not repeat it again.

As for our company, we have nothing to do with Templars. We are a multinational pharmaceutical industry in the aims of helping the world via medical and technological advancements and breakthroughs.

Moka is not an Abstergo employee, she is one of our Animus clients. Our client records are extremely confidential and the reason I mentioned Moka was because she revealed it on our blog.

We here care about everyone, regardless of their opinions, roles or beliefs.

    • Dear George,

Our newest corporate partners of Abstergo Entertainment, Ubisoft, you help you solve that question :)

  2. I was just in one of your Laboratories recently to try it out; It was the best experience I’ve had, aside from a few difficulties. Thanks! :)

    • I am glad to hear that you have enjoyed your time in Abstergo Laboratories and Abstergo Entertainment. We do apologize for any difficulties you may have faced. We will run a full diagnosis on your session to point out these difficulties to our research and development teams for better performance upon your next visit.

Thank you and hope to see you again soon,

  3. I read in a recent article that the bleeding effect is a “rare” condition that occurs within less than 17% of users after “prolonged” use of the animus.

I am curious why you chose such abstract words. Just how long would a person have to be inside an animus to be considered “prolonged?” Let’s say 3 million people were to use the portable animus, and 10% experienced the bleeding effect- that would be 300,000 people afflicted with the bleeding effect. Now let’s say that 1% of your customer base suffered from the bleeding effect enough to wear it interfered in some manner or to some degree with their daily lives- that is still 30,000 people.

Have you done anything to decrease the risk of the bleeding effect in these portable versions of the animus? How often and how long can sessions with these portable animi be before considered “prolonged?”

    • Dear Ms. Sharon,

May you please specify where and which article?

Yes, the bleeding effect is a side effect that happens due to prolonged sessions. In the owner’s manual of the Portable Animus, it states the recommended duration of use. Below is a small part from the main Animus health warning document provided by Ubisoft (the new associated partner with Abstergo Entertainment that brings you the Portable Animus)

“A very small percentage of individuals may experience epileptic seizures when exposed to certain light patterns or flashing lights. Exposure to certain patterns or backgrounds on a computer screen may induce an epileptic seizure in these individuals. Certain conditions may induce previously undetected epileptic symptoms even in persons who have no history of prior seizures or epilepsy.

If you, or anyone in your family, have an epileptic condition, consult your physician. If you experience any of the following symptoms — dizziness, altered vision, eye or muscle twitches, loss of awareness, disorientation, any involuntary movement, or convulsions — IMMEDIATELY discontinue use and consult your physician before resuming.”

Remember that before use, all participants would have signed a contract that what ever they do with the Portable Animus is their own responsibility. If they decide not to follow our safety procedures, then what can we do? The people that were harmed by this were volunteers who insisted to stay in the animus regardless of our warnings. However, the portable Animus has been designed to reduce this effect and our teams have been working on a way to cause it to self shut down (after an immediate progress save of-course) to secure your safety.

We would recommend a healthy 30 minuet break after every 1 hour session and no more than 4 hours in a day with it being split as; 1hour – 30min break – 1 hour – 1h30min break – 1 hour – 30min break – 1 hour – off.

Thank you for your interest in Abstergo,

        • I had a feeling it was the article that was posted long ago in this blog. We tend to give all users a full test to make sure that they will be able to handle using the Animus by themselves and if necessary we would keep an eye on them to make sure they do not hurt themselves. We care about our consumers, especially since our goal is the betterment of humanity.

          Thank you,

    • I am sorry but I do not understand what you are talking about.

      Otto Schmidt
Linage and Subject Acquesition and Customer Officer

      • You wouldn’t. Abstergo make it clear that the ‘unimportant’ staff are unaware of their plans. I have seen the truth and soon, it will end.

        • That does not imply to me however. I am a part of the executive team supervising all of the Animus research working with personally Dr. Warren Vidic and CEO Alan Rikkin.

          Thank You,

          • It doesn’t matter. If ‘he’ can’t stop what’s to come soon, then the next few weeks could be our last. Everyone’s last!

          • The world is a messy place and Abstergo just wants to make it a better place for all. Does that not mean that the acts against our goal of world peace would be of forces aiming for world evil?

            Thank You,

    • Mickael,

The Portable Animus will also accommodate multi-user sessions, though not much information about it is available at this time. Our developers and engineers are keeping a very tight lip about the subject! We’ll know more in just a few short weeks!

  5. How does the other person join? It looks fun, but do both people live as one ancestor or do they live as each of their own ancestor in one plane? I’m confused.

    • Mariah,

The other person (or people) joining the main user will be able to enter the Animus program with them as another person (or people) on the same plane with the main user’s ancestor. There is a program within the Animus that will allow these multi-user sessions in a “sandbox” of sorts, that will allow these users to interact with each other within the ancestor’s historical time and place outside of the timeline. This means that the main user had full control over his ancestor’s actions and decisions because he was not replaying an actual historic event. I hope this clears things up a bit, but feel free to ask any more questions you may have!
